All delegates for the main conference and doctoral colloquium must register before attending. Registration for the doctoral colloquium also includes registration for the main conference.
Submission of Papers
All conference submissions will be made using this online facility: http://iam2017.exordo.com/. Abstract submission is now closed.

Papers will be be categorised under the following themes:
- Education and Impact
- Entrepreneurship and Innovation
- Human Resource Management
- Industrial Relations
- Organisational Behaviour and Change
- International Business
The deadline for full papers is the 30th June 2017. Main conference papers should be 5,000-7,000 words in length (excluding reference), single spaced, 12 point font, and with a 2.5cm margin. They should include an abstract at the start of the paper of no more than 150 words. Only papers in pdf can be uploaded to the exordo system.
Doctoral colloquium papers should be between 2000-3000 words in length (excluding references), single spaced, 12 point font and with a 2.5cm margin. They should also include an abstract at the start of the paper of no more than 150 words.
Presentations for the colloquium should be no more than 10 minutes and participants should cover the following areas:
- Research Question/Aim
- Rationale/ Background to Research
- Key Literature
Presentations for the main conference should be no more than 15 minutes (which should incorporate time for questions). You should bring your presentation on a memory stick and upload it at least 5 minutes before the start of your session.
PhD students at an advanced stage are welcome to present in both the main conference and in the Doctoral Colloquium. Please email Kristel Miller to advise if you are presenting in both or just the Doctoral Colloquium.
Best Paper Awards
Full papers submitted by the deadline of June 30th 2017 will be considered for the Best Paper Awards.
Best paper awards will be made under the themes listed above.
Delegate fee, which includes the opening reception, conference sessions and conference dinner - €395. Early Bird Registration is available until 26th June 2017 at a discounted rate of €345.
Doctoral student rate, which includes the Doctoral Colloquium, opening reception, main conference and dinner - €195
An optional Titanic Experience Tour is available at a rate of 25euro.
Please note - we have secured 10% off registration fees for delegates attending both the Irish Academy of Management and the British Academy of Management. If you are going to both conferences, please email Dr Kristel Miller before registering.
Cancellations made on or before 11th August will be refunded the registration fee minus an administration fee (€40 for regular delegates and €20 for student delegates). Refunds will be processed within 60 days. Registrations cancelled after the 11th August will not be eligible for a refund.
